“Within the industry today, actors who are just starting out usually get the short end of the stick. Yes, they have resources available online through YouTube and Instagram but unless they went to a performing arts school and have direct connections into the business, they have no step by step direction on how to achieve success in the space. Often people on social media who promote ways to enter the industry are giving one-off pieces of advice rather than a FULLY DETAILED comprehension course of how to get started and thrive out the gate.
This is why I made the Business of Acting Masterclass, under Zachary Garmers University.
I knew absolutely nothing about the art of acting, the business side of it, the networking, or the audition process. I had no inside connections to get me started. I simply worked day in and day out to learn everything I possibly could on sets and at home. I’ve done all this work and it’s time I return the favor to the industry that has been so good to me and my career. I constructed what I believe to be the six most fundamental parts of a successful acting career path for an actor COMPLETELY NEW to the industry.
