BLUE BLOODS
Season 13, Episode 5

CBS
The hit CBS crime drama tv show, Blue Bloods, is a truly captivating series running on air for a grand total of 13 seasons thus far and still going strong. Telling the story of the Raegan family, the city of New York is truly the city that never sleeps. Crime never takes a day off and thus the NYPD is no exception. Starring immensely talented names such as Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, etc, the story of Blue Bloods remains feeling fresh and timely with every season.
How CBS described Season 13, Episode 5 “Homefront”:
“Frank launches an investigation after the Reagan family is harassed when protests against a controversial NYPD unit escalate. Also, Danny and Baez form an unlikely partnership with an informant in order to prevent a murder; Eddie lands in hot water after she defies a direct order; and conflict arises between Erin and the Dream Team when the D.A.’s office strikes a deal with Baker’s assailant.“
– Pricinct TV, 2022
Zachary Garmers costarred in Season 13, Episode 5 of Blue Bloods.
This was Zachary Garmers’ first ever costar role. He landed it exactly one week after being signed to his management company at the time, Dream Talent Management.
Funny enough, this was a very sentimental role to have recieved for Zachary Garmers. The reason for this was two-fold.

CBS / PARAMOUNT+
One being his grandmother, Jenny Garmers, absolutely adores Tom Selleck. And two, because of where the episode was being shot.
Before moving back to New York City and beginning his rise to stardom, Zachary Garmers lived upstate in Fishkill, NY. He used to visit the city and always the very same pier as the pier shot on for the episode.
Pictured here (image right on Desktop or below on Mobile) is the pier Zachary Garmers would repeatedly visit to reminice and reflect on his childhood. The reason for this being because he grew up from ages 4-14 living and going to school in that exact same neighborhood of Long Island City, Queens.
“Those were very much my formative years as a child,” says Zachary. “A lot of good and bad experiences were cultivated there. My identity, so to speak. So I find it humourous how I ended up back at the same pier, in the same neighborhood I’ve missed for all these years.”
A big thanks to the company of Eye Productions and the rest of the Blue Bloods Production Office.
Special thanks to 2nd AD Dan Short, Alex Zakrzewski, Kevin Riley, Len Cariou, and the amazing people at CBS.
